Team THI Loses 4-2 to Walpole's Junior B Team
The 2nd annual Junior/Midget Summer Showcase was held at the Cyclones Arena during the weekend of July 18th. The Cyclones entered 4 teams in the tournament and Team THI coached by Tony Resendes, former Jr. A Cyclone and AJHL All Star Player, coached the team to successfully compete in the finals against Walpole's Junior B team - losing only 4-2. Team THI made a great effort against players that were 3 to 4 years older than the majority of our team and it was great to see a former player of mine coach this team to the finals, said Cyclone Owner, Bill Flanagan. Team THI was made up of Cyclone Midget players, prep school players from Cardigan Mountain School, Deerfield, Kimball Union, and Salisbury School as well as players from the Cyclone Jr. B team and midget players from the New England Area.
